With Kitimat, Apache Doubles Down on LNG

On Jan. 13, Apache Corp., which bills itself as the biggest U.S. independent oil and gas producer by market value, said it agreed to buy 51% of Kitimat LNG, which is to be constructed at Bish Cove near the Port of Kitimat about 405 miles (652 km) north of Vancouver.
