Last week, U.S. Henry Hub prices for natural gas tumbled below $2.00/MMBtu for the first time since December 2001, sending a gasp through producers and widening further the profit margins one can make by converting gas into petroleum-like products. You might recall that we reported in early February some gas traders are anticipating this summer prices will dip below US$1/MMBtu. The price then was $2.47/MMBtu. Thus far, they’re on track....
